The Millésime Festival is a large-scale festive gathering with a musical connotation that has nothing to be ashamed of when compared to the biggest festivals. Each year, over 5,000 festival-goers enjoy a variety of electro music styles, including techno, acid and trance. That’s what makes for such a diverse range of artists.

Festival history

The Millésime Festival was the brainchild of two electronic music activists. A musician and event producer, and a former record dealer and founder of the Arakneed Sound System, the duo has also organized numerous events outside the Millésime Festival, including events at the Bordeaux Lac Exhibition Centre, the Rocher de Palmer, the CAT and many others.
The first edition of the Millésime Festival was held in 2003 in the Médoc (33).
Since 2017 the festival has taken place on the La Réole racecourse. Geographically, it’s just a 10-minute walk from the station. Each year, it brings together many different artists. This allows you to enjoy different styles of electronic music.

Comfort question

Every year, the Millésime Festival aims to raise the bar in terms of both music and comfort. And to do this, it maximizes the options and activities that can guarantee its smooth operation. From previous editions, it’s clear that the question of comfort was the one best answered by the organizers. So when it comes to configuration, there’s no need to worry, as many volunteers ensure that everyone is satisfied, starting with the Parking department. For camping, the facilities guarantee comfort. There are water points, camping space and toilets.
Crowd management is well organized and the festival area is divided into two parts. The first part is the main venue, with two stages, a gigantic bar and a bank for exchanging money for tokens. Each scene is designed for a specific electro genre. In addition, various teams ensure the artistic and technical aspects of the event, in particular with the paintings. Particularly at night, UV lamps take over to bring out the many fluorescent-painted details on the scenery. They also offer sublime decoration coupled with an impressive light show. The second part is reserved for clothing and accessories boutiques, food trucks and chill-out areas.
