Who organizes the Ethereal Decibel Festival?

The Ethereal Decibel festival is organized by the Ethereal Decibel Company (EDC), an association loi 1901 based in Rennes, France. EDC was founded in 2012 with the aim of promoting Psytrance culture and its values, organizing indoor parties, festivals and supporting the production of local and international artists. The association has nearly 40 active members and over 200 volunteers who work together to put on this memorable musical event. Now in its tenth year of existence, EDC is 100% self-financed and has earned a solid reputation for its artistic direction, logistical organization and consideration for the public.

Electric Sheep Enchanted Village

Discover the Moutons Electriques village, a place of entertainment and creativity at the heart of the Ethereal Decibel festival. This funfair, run by local association Les Moutons Electriques, promises out-of-the-ordinary activities from the moment you arrive, with attractions including the Space Ship, La Mailloche, La Bergering and many other surprises.
In addition to activities, performances and workshops will enchant your experience, from juggling and dance shows to make-up sessions, massages and captivating lectures.
The village will also feature craft stalls, food-trucks offering a variety of culinary delights, and an exhibition area showcasing local artistic talent.
The safety and well-being of festival-goers is a priority. A prevention and harm reduction area will be present, as well as a place to listen and exchange ideas to combat violence and discrimination.

Camping and Parking

The Ethereal Decibel festival team has thought of everything to make your stay a pleasant one. The campsite will be equipped with toilets and showers, and there will also be parking spaces available for trucks, motorhomes, cars and people with reduced mobility.
The parking lot will open on Thursday June 22 at 2pm, and the campsite and festival site will open their doors on Friday June 23 at 12pm. Get your camping gear ready and come and experience unforgettable moments at the heart of the Ethereal Decibel festival.

How to get to the Ethereal Decibel Festival: Practical information

In conclusion, here’s some practical information on how to get to the Ethereal Decibel Festival.
The festival takes place in Saint-Symphorien-des-Monts, in the Manche region of Normandy, just 1 hour from Rennes. If you’re coming by car, simply enter “Ethereal Decibel Festival” in your GPS, or drive to Saint-Symphorien-des-Monts and follow the signs. To make travel easier, we encourage you to join the Facebook group “Covoiturage Festival 2023” to organize shared rides.
If you prefer public transport, the nearest station is Avranches. From there, you can take a bus or cab to the festival site. If you’re coming from further afield, the airports of Rennes, Caen, Nantes and Dinard are the nearest for air travel.

The festival also offers a shuttle service from Rennes and Avranches, bookable via its online ticketing service, to facilitate your access to the festival.
