The Castlemorton rave (1992)

The Castlemorton rave took place in 1992 in a disused quarry at Castlemorton Common in England. This illegal party attracted around 30,000 people, far exceeding the organizers’ expectations. The rave lasted the whole weekend, with renowned DJs such as Carl Cox and The Prodigy. The rave was eventually stopped by the police, but was considered a turning point in the history of electronic music in England.
