Alexis and Marine, two individuals with a passion for their creativity, joined forces to propose innovative musical and visual initiatives. Aware of the importance of a solid team to ensure logistical coordination and participant management, they quickly called on François and Hanna, who brought their essential skills to the Maison Sonore event structure. Together, these four partners form a complementary team of seasoned professionals, each occupying a key role within the company. Alexis, as President, is responsible for project management and studio production; François assumes the role of Production and Logistics Director; Hanna is Marketing, Communications and Press Relations Director, as well as Ticketing and Attendee Management Director. Marine is responsible for the overall artistic direction of the project. They can also count on the invaluable support of a dedicated team of talented freelancers, work-study students and volunteers, who have faithfully accompanied them for many years.

What is your approach to music production, and what is your creative process like?

Each edition produced by Maison Sonore is also a music label. We find motivated artists and help them, through a process of creative expression, to create an identity that suits them. We then accompany them in the production of their creations to target musical trends suited to their universe.

What was your biggest project and how did you achieve it?

Our biggest event project was Horizon Music Festival, which took place on May 20, 2023. To realize this project, we collaborated with Blue Coast Brewing Company, first as acquaintances, then as suppliers, and now as partners.

Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to set up a collective?

• Create your community before launching events
• Find a good security service and think carefully about your arrangements. Security at events means keeping the well-being of participants in mind, and is part of the event’s mood. It’s not just about clearing out the club.
• A professional approach to music and events.
• The most important rule: As organizers, you are solely responsible for the safety of your participants and the quality of your events.

How do you see the collective’s future, and what are your plans?

We will continue to create new labels and editions to provide the necessary platforms for artists and collectives in the 06 region.

Do you have an anecdote about the collective that you’d like to share?

A first event concept before the company was actually a reality was to create a floating dancefloor on the sea off Cap d’Antibes. Which we did. Quite a logistical feat.
