After a seven-year hiatus, the legendary Tomorrowland electro festival has returned to Brazil! A fairytale festival
Since 2005 and its first edition in Belgium, the Tomorrowland festival has come a long way! The musical event has quickly established itself worldwide as an unreal musical experience in its own right. Tomorrowland is also a visual, dreamlike and immersive journey that every electronic music enthusiast dreams of taking part in. Tomorrowland is much more than a festival: it’s an enchanted interlude that brings people together and unites them. It’s living proof that a better tomorrow is possible! Martin Garrix, Avicii, Calvin Harris and Martin Solveig are among the biggest stars to have graced the majestic Tomorrowland backdrop, whose main stage is a veritable Holy Grail for any electro artist!
The long-awaited return of Tomorrowland Brasil
For seven years, electro music fans had been waiting in disbelief for the return of Tomorrowland Brasil, which had been cancelled for economic reasons. Last October, more than 180,000 lucky fans were able to attend the event, which was dedicated to love and unity. Taking up the theme of Tomorrowland Belgium, “Reflection of love”, the electro festival won over festival-goers who came to celebrate the present moment and love the future. The pharaonic decorations, a trademark of the event, served as the backdrop for this exceptional celebration of living together. Tomorrowland Brasil brings together 80 different nationalities on six stages to celebrate the love of neighbor and music!
The program featured sets by some of the world’s greatest DJs, including Afrojack, Steve Angello, Paul Kalkbrenner and Afro-house pioneers Antdot & Maz, who set the Core Stage alight. The weather gets involved
The first day of Tomorrowland Brasil 2023 was unfortunately marred by the weather. Torrential rain, lightning and strong winds accompanied festival-goers on Thursday, so much so that the damage caused forced organizers to cancel the festivities on Friday, October 13, 2023. A disappointment for festival-goers who had been looking forward to this return for years, and were thus deprived of a third of the fun! A lesser evil in the end, as the 3rd and final day went ahead as planned, in the joy and benevolence typical of the magical world of Tomorrowland. Partygoers from all over the world ended this year’s event on a high note, and no doubt with a strong desire to repeat the experience!
Tomorrowland Brasil 2024
The good news is that Brazil is already planning to write a new chapter in electronic music, with a 2024 edition of Tomorrowland! If you missed the comeback edition in 2023, you’ll be able to make up for it next October on the dancefloor of Parque Maeda, in the state of São Paulo. Tickets are not yet on sale, but stay tuned. As you probably know, this global event is now drawing in the crowds. Tomorrowland Brasil 2023 sold out in just a few hours! Until the Brazilian event, the fairytale atmosphere of Tomorrowland Winter will settle in Alpe d’Huez in March, for several days of pure musical and visual madness!
