History of Darkside Events
Creation and Development
Darkside Events is the brainchild of two friends with a passion for electronic music. From the outset, the association has set itself a number of objectives, notably to democratize and promote electronic music in its entirety to the general public, and to offer electronic music events in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes region, where demand is strong, while highlighting their region and the Hautes-Alpes département, which they hold dear to their hearts.
Events
In 2017, Darkside Events organized its first major event at Lac de Siguret in partnership with the commune of Saint-André-d’Embrun. This one-evening event marks the start of a promising adventure for the association.
In 2023, Darkside Events launched the first edition of the two-day Spirits Festival. Under the theme of Kitsune, the event brings together over 30 artists and attracts 1,800 festival-goers, confirming the association’s growing success.
In 2024, Darkside Events continues its momentum with the second edition of the Spirits Festival, also over two days, promising even more surprises and unforgettable moments for participants.
