BONUS | We put your questions to the organizers!
In this exclusive interview, we take a behind-the-scenes look at this iconic festival and share the memorable moments that have marked its history.
- Can you share any memorable moments or interesting stories from previous editions of the Insane Festival?
The famous storm of 2022! Everyone who was there remembers it was intense. A rapid but very intense episode of wind and rain, which meant we had to evacuate the festival stages, secure any decorations that might have fallen down, pick up almost all the festival fences to get the sound back up and running in less than 1H30… It was a tough job, but we got through it! - What are the particular logistical challenges involved in organizing an outdoor festival like Insane Festival, and how do you deal with them?
The biggest challenge was arriving on a bare site: no water, no electricity and no infrastructure! Accommodating 16,000 people a day is complicated enough. We have a competent technical team and we are helped by the local authorities to set up this truly ephemeral living space, which gets better every year! - Can you tell us about Insane Festival’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion on stage and in the audience?
And within our association! We now have more women than men on our production team. We can’t call this an “effort”, but we do try to balance the balance as much as possible, and to promote female and queer artists. As well as adapting to our audience, these are values that we hold personally, so we’re happy to achieve them. - How does Insane Festival create an immersive experience for festival-goers that goes beyond simply listening to live music?
We put a strong emphasis on decoration and show! Good music is great, but we also try to make the moment as immersive as possible with the decorations and spectacular with the light show.
The Insane Festival is much more than just a musical event: it’s an unforgettable experience that awakens the senses and transports festival-goers into an electrifying universe. Combining music, enchanting decors and visual spectacles, this event pushes the limits of creativity and offers a true escape. Whether you’re a music enthusiast, a lover of new discoveries or simply looking for a unique experience, the Insane Festival is sure to win you over. . Don’t miss this year’s Insane Festival, a musical adventure you’ll never forget.
