This meeting marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration that led him into the world of music production.<\/p>\n\n<p>A fervent machine enthusiast, FrenesY is always eager to explore new musical horizons, and has finally decided to return to his roots: The Stage. In just three years, even taking into account the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, he built up a solid reputation, becoming resident at renowned clubs in Rennes, Nantes and Saint-Malo.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Passion_for_Groove_The_Heart_of_His_Art\"><\/span>A Passion for Groove: The Heart of His Art<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>FrenesY tells us that his passion for music is guided by a single principle: groove. He is a true music lover who &#8220;loves everything&#8221;, which obviously includes electronic music. His adventure has taken him from music production to deejaying, thanks to his expertise in the use of analog synthesizers and sampling.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_versatile_DJ_and_producer\"><\/span>A versatile DJ and producer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>One of FrenesY&#8217;s outstanding features is its musical versatility. He describes his musical style as extremely versatile, able to navigate easily between genres as varied as tech house and trance, ready to catch the wind of musical trends.<\/p>\n\n<p>To understand what influences his work, he shares with us his main sources of inspiration: <em>Boris Brejcha, Bingo Players, Fedde Le Grand, Dennis de Laat, Prodigy<\/em>. For him, the secret lies in capturing the groove, which opens the door to unlimited musical exploration.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_Creation_Musicale_Groove_Machines_and_Passion\"><\/span>La Cr\u00e9ation Musicale: Groove, Machines, and Passion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>FrenesY gives us an insight into his musical creation process. For him, there is no set path. A new track can be born from a melody in your head, a beatmaking session, an improvisation with an instrument, or even a pure feeling for groove.<\/p>\n\n<p>He uses a variety of tools, including <em>Ableton Live Suite 11<\/em>, TLA preamplifiers, an MPC 2000, a collection of guitars (Fender, Gibson, Gretsch), a Moog, and anything else he can get his hands on to provide an exciting musical experience.<\/p>\n\n<p>He prefers <em>Ableton Live<\/em> as his DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and encourages its use. When it comes to VSTs (Virtual Studio Technology), he suggests exploring various options to find the ones that best suit your artistic needs.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Live_DJ_Narrator_of_Experiences\"><\/span>The Live DJ: Narrator of Experiences<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>When he gets behind the decks, FrenesY explains that the difference between his approach as a DJ and as a producer lies in the arrangement. In the studio, he has the luxury of taking his time to experiment, test and compare, whereas live, instinct is at the heart of his performance.<\/p>\n\n<p>He also discusses the choice of tracks in his DJ sets, where he seeks a balance between personality and audience appeal. According to him, the DJ is like a narrator, and his mission is to tell a captivating story that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Advice_to_Young_Artists\"><\/span>Advice to Young Artists<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>FrenesY concludes our interview with some advice for young artists aspiring to break into the electronic music industry: &#8220;The audience is the key: when you have the audience with you, you&#8217;re invulnerable.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>It also encourages curiosity and open-mindedness, as well as the search for a unique artistic identity to stand out in an ever-changing musical landscape.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Opportunities and Challenges for Emerging Artists<\/h3>\n\n<p>For emerging artists, he stresses that making a living from their passion is a considerable challenge.
