Such is the case of Maike Depas, an Italian hard techno DJ-producer, also known as Michelangelo De Pasquale. Convinced that the future of music lies in the metaverse, Depas predicts a major revolution in the way we experience music.<\/p>\n\n<p>From a very early age, Maike Depas was influenced by such key figures on the electronic scene as Skrillex and Martin Garrix. At just 11, he began DJing in clubs in Milan, the first step towards a promising career. After studying composition and piano at the prestigious Milan Conservatory, Depas immersed himself in the club culture of Berlin, the cradle of European electronic music.<\/p>\n\n<p>Inspired by both the hard-trance of the 1990s and the hard-hitting techno of <strong>Kobosil<\/strong>, <strong>In Verruf <\/strong>and <strong>Amelie Lens<\/strong>, 2024 marks the start of a new era for Maike Depas. Dubbed <strong>Maike Depas 2<\/strong>.0, it offers a diverse range of content, from DJ sets broadcast live from dystopian settings to cyberpunk outfits by Demobaza. His transformation into an enigmatic character straight out of a computer-generated image symbolizes his vision of the revolution taking place on the electro scene.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;The Age of Chaos&#8221;, his latest opus, saw the light of day on April 19, in digital and vinyl format on The Innovation Studio. Following this, he is preparing the release of &#8220;Tokyo Nights&#8221;, <strong>an EP due out in May<\/strong> <strong>on Mattia Trani&#8217;s Pushmaster Discs<\/strong>.
