For its 10th edition, this new event will bring together over 30,000 festival-goers in the village of Rongy. There&#8217;s no doubt that this year&#8217;s line-up will be an anthology of events to enhance the weekend for all participants. Since its inception, this festival has gone from strength to strength, offering its regulars the very best in Hardstyle music entertainment. Indeed, for those who know it as well as for those who don&#8217;t, it&#8217;s a festival with a unique and appealing concept. Its musical program is worthy of the greatest festivals, and it boasts one of the most complete line-ups. The setting is unusual and festive. So many reasons why this is the event of the year not to be missed. And to complete the picture, the organizing committee has decided to go all out this year.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Festival_history\"><\/span>Festival history<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>This festival, now famous in the world of electronic music, was indeed born on July 13, 2013 to be exact. In response to the decline in &#8220;big top&#8221; evenings, a group of young people from the town of Rongy decided to create a festival. The first edition was a great success, even if the numbers weren&#8217;t so high. Around 50 artists were invited to perform for 3,000 festival-goers in a single day. The important thing was to make an impact on the Hardstyle universe, and this has been done. Their initial efforts and success encouraged them to return to the project, and there&#8217;s no denying that the festival has grown since then. In 2015, the option was extended to 2 days of festivities. The campsites have also been fitted out for the 2016 edition. Over time, and with its growing fame, the festival became the most important in the region, attracting festival-goers from all over the world. And the soccer pitch initially planned for the occasion had become too small over the days to accommodate the initial number of festival-goers. The event has therefore moved to the outskirts of the village, where the large plain meets the festival&#8217;s technical requirements.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Musical_program\"><\/span>Musical program<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>The festival&#8217;s popularity and renown are largely due to its musical line-up, which is considered worthy of the world&#8217;s greatest festivals.<br\/>The So W&#8217;Happy festival is back, and it&#8217;s going all out with a hardcore, raw and, above all, hardstyle program. For this final level, the featured artists will be Frontliner, F-Block &amp; S-Te-Fan, Da Tweekaz, and more famous ones such as Headhunterz and Wildstylez. The same goes for Raw and Hardcore with Gearbox Digital and Rebellion respectively, followed by Footworxx, Rotterdam, Terror Corps, Hysta and Partyraiser.<br\/>The So W&#8217;Happy festival is also about other types of music besides hardcore and hardstyle. Techno and electro artists will be on hand. Starting with Bonzai All Stars, who will have their own stage to celebrate their 30th anniversary. We Are Rave will also be present for the occasion, with a Techno program featuring Angy Kore and Jacidorex.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tickets\"><\/span>Tickets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>As the saying goes, it&#8217;s imperative to have tickets before going to the festival. And these are divided up according to various characteristics. In fact, festival-goers wishing to spend just one day at the festivities will pay for tickets designed for the occasion. The same applies to festival-goers wishing to spend the whole weekend there, or those looking for VIP services. All entrances and exits to and from the festival site are authorized only with a master key. Access to the campsite is also provided via the purchase of a ticket. Days 12, 13 and 14 will be dedicated to the event. The campsite will only be open from Friday afternoon. Then, on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon onwards, the festive events take place. The minimum age for participation is strictly 16, so all festival-goers are asked to bring a valid ID card for verification purposes. Various items and tools are prohibited on the festival site. Food and beverages were also on offer, with a view to promoting the food-trucks and food stalls set up for the occasion.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>In addition, a policy has been introduced on the festival site. This is the use of SWFs, also known as Sowhaf. These are festival tokens that will actually replace real coins; useless on the festival site. These tokens are used to buy everything on the festival site only, from drinks to food and various other things. They are contained in wristbands given to festival-goers on arrival at the site. These bracelets are recharged with cash or with the various bank cards available. Sowhafs are refunded (if any remain on the wristband) exactly 1 month after the end of the festival. Before this date, it is impossible to recover the money on the bracelet.<\/p>\n\n<p>From July 12 to 14, the Belgian town of Rongy will be abuzz with activity as part of the So W&#8217;Happy festival.
